This Castlevania fan game from Mig Perez is a fun and entertaining mashup of classic Castlevania gameplay with modern-style Metroidvania elements. It's not as big or complex as a Symphony of the Night-style game, but it still has plenty of stuff to do and some interesting concepts.

The first half of the game is a linear action adventure with an emphasis on exploration and upgrades as you move forward through each level. You don't get any special abilities like Richter from SOTN, but you do have access to slide and double jump abilities that help make Efrain's movements more fluid and able to deal with the environment better.

Aside from this, there are many puzzles and enemies to kill. Most of them can be solved with a simple walkthrough, but there are also some incredibly difficult areas that require you to find relics or items to progress through the level.

Satanic Acolytes: Found in the Chamber of Illusions, these are a strange group of mini-bosses who lob their heads from the back wall at you and appear as human figures. Unless you have the item that lets you see through illusions, they'll come off as impossible enemies to kill.

Doppelganger: In the Sarelle Cemetery, a coffin that's being used for a funeral ceremony contains a copy of Efrain Lecarde's body. The doppelganger holds a deep rage against him and wishes to kill him.
